Measure the foundation body accurately
The tiered dress uses chest, neck, back length and front-leg gap for its foundation body, then derives three skirt panels from the back length and attachment geometry. Record centimetres with the pet standing naturally because back length influences both body coverage and tier proportions.
Review the attachment and length of all three tiers
In the preview, confirm that the foundation body, strap or attachment areas and all three tiers are present, then review tier order, seam lengths and coverage near the tail base. Skirt fullness is calculated by the pattern structure rather than entered as a separate body measurement.
Test tier weight and volume in lower-cost fabric
Multiple tiers accumulate weight and seam bulk. Test in a lower-cost fabric with similar drape and observe whether the tiers pull on the body or interfere with the tail and hind legs before adjusting for the final material.
