Pet Strappy Dress Pattern Generator
Use your pet's chest and back-length measurements to create a lightweight, custom-fit strappy dress pattern.
Position the strappy body and skirt from body measurements
The strappy dress uses chest, neck, back length and front-leg gap. These measurements establish the upper body and openings, after which the pattern derives the straps and single skirt panel from the body attachment geometry; there is no separate strap-length input.
Review strap orientation and the skirt seam
In the preview, check front-back strap orientation, left-right pairing, front-leg openings and the skirt attachment length, as well as coverage near the tail. Do not change neck circumference to compensate for strap position; recheck front-leg gap and back length first.
Observe strap tension during the test fit
Strap width, fabric stretch and skirt weight work together to affect stability. Test in material close to the final behaviour and check whether the straps slip, tighten or pull the skirt forward while the pet walks and turns.
