The plus-size one-piece uses chest, neck, belly girth, back length and front-leg gap. Measure belly girth separately around the fullest abdomen so the draft can respond to chest-to-belly proportion rather than treating the torso as one circumference.
Compare chest, belly and front-leg openings
In the preview, review the transition from chest to belly, the back length and front-leg openings. When chest and belly differ substantially, check that abdominal coverage is neither tight nor sagging and confirm unusual proportions through remeasurement first.
Test while standing, sitting and lying down
Belly room needs checking in several positions. Test in material close to the final stretch and thickness and assess the neck, chest, abdomen and leg roots while the pet stands, sits, lies down and walks, ensuring closures do not press into the belly.
