Set the silhouette with scale, bust and length
The BJD trapeze tool uses scale ratio, doll bust and garment length from the shoulder-neck point to the hem. Measure the specific doll's bust and intended length directly. The ratio participates in scaling the draft but does not replace individual measurements.
Review upper-body openings and skirt volume
In the preview, check dressing access around the neckline and armholes, suitable room through the chest, and whether the trapeze hem suits the doll's proportions. Choose another dress tool with waist and hip inputs when closer shaping is required.
Test drape at the intended fabric thickness
At miniature scale, fabric thickness can hold a skirt away from the body. Verify print scale and test in material close to the final weight and stiffness, checking length, hem spread and dressing access.
