Record bust, garment length and total sleeve length
The jiaao tool uses bust, garment length from the shoulder-neck point to the hem, and total sleeve length measured from one cuff end across the arms and shoulders to the other cuff. Enter all three in centimetres and keep the arm position consistent with the intended wear when measuring the sleeve span.
Review body length and the full sleeve span
In the preview, check the body width, hem position and the full spread of the sleeves. Total sleeve length controls the distance across both cuff ends rather than one sleeve, so an unusual sleeve span should first be checked for a single-sleeve measurement entered by mistake.
Test the front overlap and cuff movement
Fabric thickness, lining and closure construction can change the front overlap and sleeve drape. Verify the print scale and make a test version in material close to the intended thickness, then check arm raising, the front overlap and the finished length.
