Build the qipao from the doll's measurements
The tool uses a scale ratio together with the doll's bust, waist, hip, back length, waist-to-hip length, skirt length and collar height. Measure each doll separately even when two bodies share the same scale label, and keep measuring positions consistent with the field guidance.
Check scale and miniature proportions
After changing measurements or the scale ratio, review the waist-to-hip position, garment length and collar height in the preview. Verify the print scale after export: small discrepancies become more noticeable on miniature pattern pieces, so do not cut before checking it.
Test with material close to the final garment
The neckline, armholes and closure area of a doll qipao are sensitive to fabric thickness and construction. Make a test version, confirm that the garment can be put on and removed without restricting the torso or arms, then adjust for the chosen fabric and closure.
